2014: A Year of Changes
Is the second week of the year too late to wish you a happy New Year? If not, then "Happy New Year to you!". 2013 ended with a bang for us here in the Montgomery household. In December, Dan officially received his master’s degree from Wheaton College. After that, we spent the Holidays visiting with many friends and family. For Christmas we were able to spend an entire week in Kansas visiting with Jane’s side of the family.

As great as 2013 was, this next year looks as if it will be even more exciting. 2014 will be a year of multiple dramatic changes. Our first child, Micah, is due to be born on April 5th. Thus, our free time has been spent preparing space in our apartment for our soon-to-arrive roommate. There are still things to be done but, as you can see from the picture below, Micah’s area is ready for his arrival. Praise God for his goodness. Pregnancy can be quite uncomfortable for Jane but, more than that, it has been a time of joyful expectation.

As if having a son were not enough change for us in 2014, we are also planning on moving to Albania as a part of Josiah Venture before the year is over. Our plans have changed slightly since we last spoke to some of you. Instead of heading to Tirana (Albania’s capital city) we will be joining with a church in Pogradec. If you have been paying attention, you would know that Pogradec is the city we traveled to this past summer with a team from our church. We love the opportunity we have been given to head back and work with many of the same people. Expect a fuller explanation of why we are switching cities to come your way soon. However, if you want more information on what we are doing, the best thing to do is talk to us personally! Inquiring face to face conversations, emails, and phone calls are all welcome.

Finally, we want to let those who have partnered with us already how thankful we are for them. Please continue to pray for us as we prepare to make multiple transitions in the next year. If you would like to begin partnering with us by joining our financial support team simply click here.

Once again, Happy New Year (if it’s not too late)!!! May you know the fullness and depth of God’s blessing in the coming year.
